Trekennard
is a traditional 220 acre working
farm bordered by broad leaf
woodland, situated 1 mile off
the A39 [Atlantic Highway] and
7 miles south of Bude.
It is a mixed farm with a herd
of home-raised South Devon suckler
cows, 300 head of breeding Suffolk
Cross ewes, free ranging poultry
and some arable farming. The
farm is organic and abides by
the DEFRA Stewardship scheme
to Soil Association Organic
Certification UK5 Standards.
Guests are free to roam across
the farm where you may stumble
across the ancient St.Neots
Holy well. You will also find
many delightful walks, both
through the surrounding unspoilt
countryside - there are many
footpaths and no traffic - or
down to the scenic Atlantic
Coast or the Cornish Coastal
footpath. Both less than 1 mile
away.
